To express the concern and care of the Macao SAR Government on tertiary education students,the "Learning Material Subsidy for Tertiary Education Students" will be launched again for the academic year 2024/2025 in supporting the students to purchase books, reference and learning materials. The subsidy will be granted to Macao resident ID card holders who are undertaking academic degree courses, or tertiary education courses with a learning period of not less than two academic years. The courses should be organized by a public or private tertiary learning institution recognized by the Macao SAR or by the authorities of the countries or regions concerned. Moreover, the courses must start in the period between April 2024 and March 2025 and with a duration of six to twelve months as stipulated by the relevant institutions. To obtain the subsidy which amounts to $3,300 patacas, the students should complete the registration formalities by 30th May, 2025 (system will be closed at 23:59:59 Macao time on the aforesaid deadline).

Overseas Macao residents who cannot open the “Macau Public Service One Account” due to expiration of the Macao resident ID card, or when faced with special circumstances or are in need of assistance, please email to aeees@dsedj.gov.mo for enquiries. The Fund will assist you in applying for related services in other ways.

In addition, any registrant who does not have a Macau mobile phone number can still use a non-local mobile phone number to register online a "Macau Public Service One Account".
